Welcome to HEARTDRiVE — a brand born from the personal journey of overcoming a life-changing heart condition. I’m Adam Shea, the Founder and Creator of HEARTDRiVE, and I want to share how this brand came to life.
The Mess: Overcoming Adversity
In 2016, I faced what became a five-year battle with a heart condition that took me on a journey through physical, mental, and emotional challenges. It was a time of intense highs, crushing lows, stress, anxiety, and depression — and the impact was profound. But I knew that one day through the pain, there would be a deeper purpose.
The Message: Turning Pain into Purpose
In 2020, as I reflected on my experience, I asked myself: Who would ever want to hear this story? Who might need to hear this story? What good can come out of it and would I even tell people?
Sitting by the beach one day, the words hit my heart:
“Make every beat count. Make every beat matter.”
These words sparked a light in me — a vision to turn my pain into purpose, to create something that would help others going through similar challenges. And that’s how HEARTDRiVE was born.
The Movement: Inspiring Hope and Resilience
The HEARTDRiVE Logo — more than just a symbol — represents the resilience of the human spirit. It embodies our hearts, our hopes, and our dreams. The heart symbolizes strength in overcoming adversity and the power to bounce back from life's toughest moments. It’s a reminder that hope and faith connect us and drive us forward.
There’s a saying: “Every setback is a setup for a comeback.” At HEARTDRiVE, we embrace this mindset, believing that every challenge we face can be turned into an opportunity for growth. We’re all about transforming life’s "lemons into lemonade" and using our "mess' to create a meaningful 'message" of resilience, hope, and strength.
HEARTDRiVE isn’t just a clothing brand; it’s a movement. We’re here to raise awareness about heart disease and promote the importance of heart health, while inspiring others to overcome adversity. We are here for anyone who’s faced life’s darkest moments and found the strength to keep going. HEARTDRiVE is about transforming what tries to "break you" into something that "makes you" stronger.
The Mission: Giving Back and Inspiring Change
We are committed to supporting Heart Health, Mental Health support, and resilience. A portion of our sales supports organizations like the Heart Foundation Australia as well as community organizations, because giving back is at the core of our mission.
